All ready for church...lucky for me I have lime green frogs on my dress so I can wear my new lime green crocs...(as if mom was really going to get them off of me without a fight!)

I busted Julian this week doing a things she knows she's not supposed to :) But, she looked so innocent that I had to snap a few pictures!

Friday Night Hike...Bayernhaus

We hiked to the Bayernhaus this past Friday night...it was a beautiful evening! We had a great group on the hike and enjoyed a fabulous German style BBQ once we reached our destination. Only Ava made the hike with us...Julian had fun at home with a sitter!

Traffic Jam...

It's 5:00 pm in Garmisch and we're stuck in a "stau"...a COW stau...no joke, the cows have the right-of-way...I LOVE IT!!!

Check - Up...

Ava had her six month check-up this past Tuesday - she weighs 16 lbs! In comparison, Julian weighed 19 lbs at six months :) The Dr said Ava is a very beautiful, healthy, active little girl (of course we already knew that!) and he could not believe that she already has two teeth!



I snapped this picture of Julian early one morning...literally, it was 630 I think! She made herself all comfy on the couch and settled in for a morning of "toons"...everyday there's a new word coming out of her mouth...she is SO much fun!

6 months already???

Where does the time go??? It seems like just yesterday we were anticipating her arrival and now she's 6 months old!!! Ava Clare is such a joy...her personality is really starting to show! She loves her big sister too :) We are truly blessed with two happy, healthy, beautiful girls!

A "Sweet" Comparison...

Ava got her first taste of Sweet Potatoes and really seemed to like them - she is a very good eater! I thought it would be fun to compare the girls and their introduction to this yummy food! Without cheating, can you tell who's who???

Friday Night Hike...Garmisch Style :)

Friday night was the official kick-off for summer's "Friday Night Hike". Each week a group gathers and hikes one of the numerous trails and/or mountains in and around Garmisch. This week we hiked to the Werdenfels Ruins, an old castle overlooking the valley. It was a nice, easy hike (thankfully!) and we had a great group attend - even a few little girls made the trek! Enjoy the photos - there will be lots more as the summer progresses!

San Teodoro, Sardinia - Part 1

We spent our first big vacation of the year on the island of Sardinia...it was AMAZING! The weather was perfect, the beaches were gorgeous and overall, it was a very relaxing vacation!
