Ready, Set...

Well, we are getting ready for our first big vacation of the year...a week on the island of Sardinia and we can't wait!!! So, I thought I would post a few recent pictures for my hard core followers...we will have lots to share upon our return! Enjoy !

We woke up this morning (15 May) to a big surprise...Ava got her first tooth!!! We are very excited but also very surprised...she isn't even 5 months old yet :)

Muttertags Cafe'

On Tuesday, 12May, Julian's class had a "Muttertags Cafe" to celebrate Mothers Day. It was an enjoyable afternoon with coffee, prosecco, cake and brez'n (pretzels)! We were treated to a performance by the kids and of course, some homemade goodies!

We celebrated Mother's Day with the realization that Ava is already getting her first tooth! EVERYTHING goes in her mouth now :) Here are a few recent shots of her...enjoy!

"Blues Clues" Party...

On Saturday, May 2nd, we held Julian's "Blues Clues" Birthday BBQ. We moved her party back a few weeks so that 1) her grandparents would be here with us to celebrate and 2) hopefully the weather would be nice. Well, so much for wishful thinking...the weather was HORRIBLE! But, the party was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Here are a few pictures of the cake, which I did make and decorate all by myself, and of her posing with her new shades...she is such a riot!
