Boo at the Zoo...

Friday night we took the girls to "Boo at the Zoo"...it was a beautiful, cool evening! We met our friends Clay and Mallory (and their kids Payton and Rett) for a "pizza tailgate party" then enjoyed an evening of trick or treating!

Alright mom...I'm ready to go!

A Beautiful Goodbye...

I woke up to a BEAUTIFUL sunrise on my birthday - I guess it was Garmisch's way of telling me goodbye...

It went from this ...

Assisi...

The site of many a pilgrimage, Assisi is linked in legend with its native son, St. Francis. The gentle saint founded the Franciscan order and shares honors with St. Catherine of Siena as the patron saint of Italy. He is remembered by many, even non-Christians, as a lover of nature. Also the birthplace of St. Clare. The Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi (St. Francis) is also a World Heritage site.
