WHEW...

I ran my first 10K (6.2 miles) on Saturday, 17 July...what an experience!!! Thankfully two of my best buds ran with me, and we cheered each other on from start to finish! After a short recovery break, training begins for the Army 10 Miler in October!

Summer Fun at Grans...

We just returned from a week in Michigan with Gran and Granddaddy - the girls truly enjoyed seeing their aunts, uncles and cousins! We were blessed with beautiful weather and spent much of our time enjoying Gran's pool...well, the girls enjoyed it, it was too cold for me!
