She was born at 7:07 am, weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and was 21 inches long. Below are a couple of pictures that my sister-in-law, Courtney, captured just after her arrival. We are truly blessed to have TWO beautiful daughters and are so thankful for our many blessings this time of year!

Ava is adorable; the perfect Christmas gift! The Shimmel family says congratulations and we wish we were there to meet her in person. Have a wonderful holiday with Julian and the new little one and know that all of you are in our thoughts. Your Christmas package will be coming but a bit late this year as my mom was delayed by my little trip to the hospital and my dad apparently doesn't know how to wrap and mail presents : )
